We hit the ground running on August 1st, and haven't looked back! Our staff confronted many changes as they returned from their summer education and vacation adventures. These included;
Over the summer we also had new floors installed as old asbestos tiles were removed. We are thankful to you for your patience as we continue to transition into the future!
Speaking of the future we also started working toward an ambitious goal. Westmeade will be the first sustainability magnet in TN.
The time is now. With the moving of Hillwood High School to its new location in Bellevue it is time to continue our march toward a sustainability curriculum and being a zero footprint school building.
Since I have been Principal we have consistently moved toward a curriculum that is driven by a dedication to nature and sustainable practice. .
